The Cabin

Accommodations

2 bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen w/ full size refrigerator, stove and microwave. The cabin is very quaint and sits the highest on the property with amazing views and privacy at the same time. The cabin has an open floor plan. The kitchen has a high top breakfast bar with an opening to the main room. The main room in the cabin features a dining table - facing the water with breathtaking views of the lake and the 300 ft sandy beach. There is a pull out couch as well as a flat screen tv - to sit back and relax after fun on the beach. A wood burning fireplace sits in the corner leading to the master bedroom (We ask that the fireplace is only used only in fall).

The master bedroom sits off of the main room and has 1 queen sized bed a dresser and a small sitting area. There is a window that overlooks the forest with the lake as a backdrop.

The second bedroom in the cabin features a twin bunk bed - a full-sized loved seat (pull out) and a dresser. This bedroom is great for the kids. It is located off of the kitchen and adjacent to the bathroom.

Please note that he bathroom in the cabin has a stand - in shower only. This may not be ideal for infants - small children.

The Cabin has one of the best views on the property featuring a bi-level deck. The deck overlooks the lake and the 200 ft sandy beach located at "flagpole point.".

The second level of the deck has a picnic table and umbrella. You will need it on those hot sunny

afternoons!! This is the perfect spot to sit back, relax, sun yourself, read a book, or to enjoy a meal together.

The ground level at cabin opens to the private driveway and and an outdoor fireplace overlooking the lake for campfires with the family. We also supply a charcoal post grill (like those at campsites) - for outdoor cooking. Small propane grills can be brought but large propane grills are prohibited.

The cabin is the perfect spot at Rocky Manor for couples or small families who enjoy a bit of privacy just a few short steps to the beach. Please note that the Occupancy limit for this cabin is 4 adults.

About Us

Rocky Manor features fully furnished weekly rentals located directly on the shores of the Great Sacandaga Lake. Location at 2625 South Shore Road in Hadley, NY 12835. The property has four cabins situated on a private two acre lakeside lot with 300 feet of sandy beach. Each unit has spectacular views of the surrounding lake and mountains.

Rocky Manor is a short drive to the many attractions of Lake George, Saratoga Springs and the Adirondack Park.

Rates

Please inquire about weekly rates. Rates are for each cabin separately.

Check in is on Saturday after 3 pm and check out time is Saturday at 10 am.
50% deposit required to secure booking/reservation.
Daily rates may be available off season (before June and after 1st week of September).
Cancellations must be made 4 weeks in advance to consider full refund of deposit. If we cannot fill those dates with another renter - a full refund will not be provided.

What you will need during your stay with us:

Linens - The cabins are furnished with pillows and blankets only, please be sure to bring bathroom linens (towels, wash cloths etc.) as well as beach towels and bedding (fitted and top sheets, pillow cases, etc.). If you have a favorite pillow or blanket you may choose to bring them along as well. For bed sizing, please refer back to the webpage for specifics on each cabin bedroom configuration.
Disposables – The cabins are fully furnished with cookware and dishes, but campers are expected to supply disposable products including: paper towels, napkins, plastic/paper plates and cups (for use outside the cabins, beach, etc.), toilet paper, tissues, foil, food storage bags, garbage bags, etc.
Beach Furniture Etc. – We do not supply beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, etc. However, there are several benches and picnic tables on the property. We supply limited life vests for boating and water sports so please plan accordingly. Rowboats and paddleboats are available for use upon approval. There is one public kayak to utilize as well.
Outdoor Cooking – Each Cabin has an outdoor fireplace for grilling and/or campfires. Wood can be purchased locally or from us. Some campers choose to bring small charcoal or tabletop propane grills.
Miscellaneous – Some other items to consider are the following….
Flashlight or candles; useful for navigating the property in the dark and occasionally, the power will go out in the summertime due to the periodic thunderstorm.

- Small window fan or box fan - one floor AC unit = the cabins are well ventilated and have one floor AC unit per cabin. No window AC units can be used in any of our cabins.

- Small Television - the cabins have basic cable in each rental with small box tvs.

- Cell service - the south shore road location has Verizon cell service.

In emergencies - you may ask the owners to utilize their land line but ask that it is used in emergency purposes only. Typically WIfi calling can work depending on occupancy and how many users are on the system.

We are currently taking reservations for 2024- with returning guests as priority.
